The Beatles in the headquarters of The Apple Corporation
The Beatles in the headquarters of The Apple Corporation, the company they owned from January 1968.
Picture shows Paul McCartney (right), John Lennon (centre - sitting down) and Neil Aspinall, (The Beatles road manager and Apple Corps Managing Director) all together in the Apple Building, Wigmore Street, Central London. Apple Corps Ltd (informally known as Apple) is a multi-armed multimedia corporation founded in London in January 1968 by the members of the Beatles to replace their earlier company (Beatles Ltd) and to form a conglomerate. Its name (pronounced " apple core" ) is a pun.
At the time of this picture The Beatles had just started work recording The White album, which was released in November 1968.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this photo print, we are transported back to the headquarters of The Apple Corporation in January 1968. The iconic Beatles, Paul McCartney and John Lennon, along with Neil Aspinall, their road manager and Apple Corps Managing Director, are seen gathered together in the Apple Building on Wigmore Street in Central London. This snapshot was taken during an interview for The Daily Mirror where the band discussed their aspirations and hopes for their newly formed company. Apple Corps Ltd. , a punny name pronounced as "apple core" was established by The Beatles to replace their previous venture (Beatles Ltd) and create a conglomerate that would revolutionize multimedia. At the time of this picture, they had just embarked on recording their groundbreaking album, The White Album. The image captures a moment frozen in time - Lennon sits at a desk with his trademark glasses while McCartney stands beside him. Aspinall completes the trio as they discuss plans that would shape music history forever. A net curtain softly filters light from outside through the window adorned with a Union Jack flag. This photograph serves as both a testament to The Beatles' creative genius and an emblem of an era defined by innovation and artistic exploration. It allows us to glimpse into the inner workings of one of music's most influential bands during a pivotal period in their career.
