The Ha139 V2, designed and manufactured by the German aircraft company Blohm und Voss between 1939 and 1945, was a versatile transport and military aircraft. This particular model, with its distinctive streamlined design and impressive wingspan, was used primarily for maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare. The Ha139 V2 was powered by two DB 603A engines, capable of generating an impressive 1,750 horsepower each. With a maximum takeoff weight of 16,000 kilograms, this aircraft could reach a top speed of 430 kilometers per hour and had a range of over 1,500 kilometers. Its advanced features included retractable landing gear, a pressurized cabin, and advanced avionics for improved navigation and communication. The Nordmeer, named after the North Sea, served with distinction during World War II, playing a crucial role in protecting German shipping convoys from Allied submarine attacks.
