The Russian Revolution, a tumultuous period in history that forever changed the course of Russia and the world. In 1918, a powerful poster emerged depicting Trotsky slaying the counter-revolutionary dragon, symbolizing the fierce determination of the Bolsheviks to eradicate opposition. Another striking poster from 1920 by artist Lissitzky showcased their resolve with the slogan "Beat the Whites with the red wedge, " emphasizing their commitment to overthrowing anti-communist forces. Vladimir Ilich Lenin, a prominent figure in this revolution, can be seen in an iconic photograph taken in Moscow's Kremlin in October 1918. His piercing gaze reflects his unwavering dedication to leading Russia towards communism. Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin's presence during this time cannot be overlooked either; his influence on Tsar Nicholas II's family added fuel to an already volatile situation.
