Lego humanoid robot known as Elektra

Humanoid robot. Lego humanoid robot known as Elektra. Elektra, 75cm tall, is controlled by two yellow Mindstorm computer bricks. These are programmable Lego bricks which can interact with their environment. The feet are equipped with electric motors and touch sensors. These sensors and motors are coordinated by the Mindstorm bricks allowing Elektra to negotiate obstacles. The robot's mood can be programmed, shown by the mouth and eyebrows which create a facial expression, in this case sadness. The Mindstorm bricks control Elektra with software written by LegoLab, Lego's research laboratory in Denmark
