Within the confines of a photographic tent, magic unfolds, and is here that images come to life before my eyes - an alchemical process where negatives are transformed into captivating prints. Transported back further in time to Ponting developing plates in his dark room during early 20th century expeditions; it dawns upon me how far we have come technologically yet how little has changed artistically. The allure lies not only in capturing breathtaking landscapes but also in the intimate connection between photographer and subject.
