"Welcome to Molineux, Ronald Zubar! The French international defender put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers, becoming the latest addition to Mick McCarthy's squad for the upcoming Barclays Premier League season. Zubar, who spent the last two years at Bordeaux, arrives at Wolves with a wealth of experience under his belt, having made over 150 appearances for the Ligue 1 side. The 28-year-old center back has also represented France at various youth levels and was a key player in Bordeaux's run to the Europa League quarter-finals last season. Speaking about his new signing, Wolves manager Mick McCarthy said, "Ronald is a proven performer at the highest level and I'm delighted to have secured his signature. He's a strong, aggressive defender with good pace and excellent distribution. He'll add quality and experience to our backline." Zubar's arrival is a boost for Wolves, who are looking to build on an impressive 2012-13 campaign that saw them finish in 15th place in the Premier League.
