The Kenwyn War Memorial was unveiled on 27th June 1920 by the Duke of Cornwall / Prince of Wales, who would later become Edward VIII. The ceremony was attended by around 2000 people. The memorial commemorates those members of the parish who died during the First World War. Following the Second World War, further names were added to the memorial.
