The Matron of George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton, Miss A. Barry(centre), and her assistant, Mrs. M. Jones(left) give some of the nurses instruction on the more important points to be raised when they lobby their MP, Mr. Leslie Huckfield, at the House of Commons next week. Mrs. Jones, one of the organisers of the Nuneaton Raise the Roof campaign will accompany them to London. The nurses will leave Nuneaton on Tuesday, and will lobby Mr. Huckfield on the same day as the Whitley Committee meet for the next discussions on wages.
