Reigate Heath Windmill

Reigate Heath Windmill, a Grade II listed post mill with a single storey roundhouse at Reigate Heath, Surrey. In 1880 the roundhouse section was converted to a chapel of ease to St Marys Parish Church, Reigate. The chapel is known as the St Cross Chapel, and is believed to be the only windmill in the world which is a consecrated church. Much restoration work has been carried out over the years, including the fitting of new sails. The roundhouse is open for church services on one Sunday of every month during the summer, and there are occasional services at other times
