Princess Patricia, born on May 16, 1886, was the eldest child of Arthur, Duke of Connaught, and Princess Louise Margaret of Prussia. She married Sir Alexander Ramsay on March 23, 1919, and together they had three children: Alexander, Patrick, and Iona. 3. Background: Princess Patricia, a granddaughter of Queen Victoria, was a prominent figure in British royalty. Her father, the Duke of Connaught, was the youngest son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. He served as the Governor-General of Canada from 1911 to 1916. Princess Patricia was known for her charitable work, particularly her involvement with the British Red Cross and the St. John Ambulance Association. 4.
