Crafted from polychrome wood by the talented French School, this remarkable piece is part of a private collection. The panels themselves are adorned with intricate C-scrolls, acanthus leaves, ruffles, and trailing vine-carved surrounds. Above them, rectangular wainscotting panels with molding add an extra layer of elegance. Some panels feature apertures for various purposes such as fireplaces, overdoors, doorways, mirrors, and two painted panel overdoors attributed to a follower of Francois Boucher.
