Diomed, the first horse depicted, was a champion racehorse in the late 19th century. Born in 1882, he won the prestigious Kentucky Derby in 1888 and went on to become a successful sire, passing on his exceptional racing abilities to future generations. Boston, the second horse, was a champion racehorse from the early 20th century. Born in 1904, he won the Kentucky Derby in 1905 and set a new record for the fastest time in the race's history. Glencoe, the final horse in this esteemed lineup, was born in 1850 and is best known for his remarkable versatility as a racehorse and sire.
