Formerly known as the South Yorkshire Asylum and later referred to as Wadsley Asylum, this iconic building was eventually transformed into Middlewood Hospital. The image showcases its remarkable architecture, with multiple entrances and windows adorning its elegant facade. The roofs of Middlewood Lodge stand tall against a clear sky, while a prominent clock tower proudly displays the time for all to see.
