Surrounding this vital component are an intricate network of blood vessels. The image highlights the journey of arterial blood as it enters a tightly woven cluster of capillaries known as a glomerulus, located at the upper center. Within this glomerulus, fluids pass out of the blood and into a hollow tubule depicted in yellow. As the process continues, other blood vessels can be seen surrounding a loop in the tubule at its bottom section. These vessels play an essential role in recovering necessary nutrients, salts, and some water before returning filtered blood to the body through blue veins. Ultimately, any remaining fluid drains into the bladder as urine.
