Born on March 10, 1834, in London, Henry Pelham-Clinton-Hope-Trevor-Roche-Foley, 6th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne, 11th Earl of Lincoln, 11th Baron Clinton, 14th Baron Dacre, and 15th Baron Foley, was a scion of one of the most distinguished aristocratic families in England.
