The image, captured by an unidentified photographer, features this particular Fw200 belonging to Lufthansa, the renowned German airline, before its military appropriation. The Fw200 Condor, also known as the "Condor I" or "Cargo Condor," was a long-range, twin-engine transport aircraft designed to carry troops, supplies, and even light vehicles over vast distances. Its distinctive features include a large fuselage, a high wing, and a T-tail. This design allowed for excellent cargo capacity and long-range capabilities, making it an invaluable asset for the German military during the war.
