This exquisite print, dating back to circa 1710, showcases an enchanting view of the Custom House in London, England, as designed by the renowned architect Sir Christopher Wren. The Custom House, located at the Tower Hill, served as the main customs office for the Port of London, responsible for collecting duties on imported and exported goods. The image captures the grandeur and sophistication of the building, with its impressive classical facade adorned with intricate columns and decorative elements.
