This print, titled "Views of Highgate" and dated 1875, offers a glimpse into the picturesque landscape of Highgate, a historic area located in north London. The image transports us back in time to the late 19th century, as we take in the charming views of this once-thriving community. At the heart of the scene lies the quaint Highgate Town, with its narrow streets and charming cottages. The architectural beauty of Highgate Church, a Grade I listed building, stands proudly in the background, its tall spire reaching towards the heavens. The church, which dates back to the 14th century, has been a focal point of the community for centuries and remains an integral part of Highgate's rich history. To the right of the image, we see The Old Forge, a historic building that once housed a blacksmith's workshop.
