This delightful postcard, dated circa 1906, captures the essence of this beloved fairy tale through the charming illustrations of N. Buchanan. The story begins with Goldilocks, a young and adventurous girl with golden locks, wandering through the forest in search of adventure. As she roamed, she came across the cozy cottage of the Three Bears - Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear. Intrigued by the sight of the empty porridge pots and chairs, Goldilocks couldn't resist the temptation to try the porridge and sit in the chairs. As she savored the warm porridge from the first pot, Papa Bear returned home. Startled, Goldilocks quickly hid in the cupboard, only to find herself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Papa Bear discovered her, and Goldilocks was forced to flee, leaving behind a trail of chaos in her wake. The story continues with Goldilocks exploring the cottage further, trying the porridge from the second pot, and sitting in the chair of Baby Bear.
