The date is 1938, and the world is on the brink of a new era in space exploration. Pragnell, a seasoned adventurer and author of several acclaimed books on the unknown, had embarked on a daring mission to uncover the secrets of the Red Planet. As he traversed the barren terrain, his keen eyes spotted something unusual in the distance. A towering figure, shrouded in a veil of Martian dust, emerged from the rocky outcroppings. The being, later to be known as the "Ghost of Mars," was unlike anything Pragnell had ever encountered before.
