This evocative photograph captures the aftermath of the Easter Rising in Dublin, Ireland, in 1916. The Ulster and Leinster Bank, located on College Green, lies in ruins following the intense fighting between the Irish Republican Army (IRA) rebels and British forces. The bank, a symbol of British rule and economic power in Ireland, was one of many buildings destroyed during the six-day insurrection.
