The scene depicts a pivotal moment in the epic Mahabharata, as the fatal dice-game between the Pandavas and their cousins, the Kauravas, reaches its climax. Draupadi, a revered figure in Hindu mythology, was known for her exceptional beauty, wisdom, and courage. Married to the five Pandava brothers, she was a symbol of devotion and loyalty. However, her honor was gravely threatened when Duhsasana, enraged by the Pandavas' victory in the dice-game, sought to humiliate Draupadi by dragging her into the assembly and stripping her of her clothes.
