14-15 February: A young person's diary for the middle of February showcases charming illustrations for each day. On the 14th, a comic scene of children playing with a partridge during the winter season is depicted. The following day, the anniversary of the Battle of Isandlwana in 1879 is commemorated with an illustration of an exhausted Zulu warrior aiming his spear, facing an imperial soldier, who appears tired and defeated. 16-17 February: The seasonal theme continues with a humorous illustration of a man attempting to shoot a partridge with a shotgun, only to be outmaneuvered by the quick bird. On the 17th, the anniversary of the assassination of Tsar Alexander II of Russia in 1880 is remembered with a solemn image of a weary emperor holding an explosive device, symbolizing the tragic event. 18-19 February: The double-page spread concludes with images related to love and sports.
