Coventry City centre was devastated by air raids in November 1940. The bombing left the cathedral in ruins and destroyed much of the historic fabric of the city. Court number 16 was situated to the rear of 78 and 79 Little Park Street. The West Midlands Police Headquarters now occupies the site

This poignant print captures the aftermath of the devastating air raids on Coventry during World War II. Taken in 1941, it shows Court 16, nestled at the east side of Little Park Street, bearing witness to the destruction caused by enemy action. The houses within Court 16 stand as silent witnesses to the horrors of war.
