In this photograph, we find ourselves transported back to the chilly January day of 2001, as Queens Park Rangers (QPR) hosted Bristol City in a thrilling Championship match. The focus of our attention is the young, determined goalkeeper, Tom Bradley, who stands proudly before us, poised and ready for action. Born on the 20th of July, 1992, in the picturesque village of Abergavenny, Wales, Tom's footballing journey began at the tender age of fifteen when he joined the esteemed QPR Academy. With an unwavering dedication to the beautiful game, Tom's preferred position on the pitch was always between the posts, where he could hone his craft and protect his team's goal. As a young boy, Tom's team allegiance lay with the legendary Arsenal, and his footballing hero was none other than the illustrious Shay Given. Inspired by the Northern Irish international's shot-stopping prowess, Tom set out to emulate his idol's skills and become a formidable force between the sticks. Despite his exceptional shot-stopping abilities, Tom recognized that there was always room for improvement. He identified his weaker area as his kicking from the ground, a crucial aspect of a goalkeeper's game.
