In this photograph, taken during the 2007 pre-season friendly between Barnet and Arsenal at Underhill, Barnet, the focus is on Spanish midfielder Fran Merida as he skillfully maneuvers the ball past a Barnet defender. Merida, who had joined Arsenal from RCD Espanyol just a year prior, was making his mark on the Arsenal squad with his impressive ball control, vision, and tenacity.
