619523 Charles II with a dedication in French, with Old London Bridge in the background, from The Method and New Invention of Dressing Horses by William Cavendish, published 1737 (2nd edn) (aquatint) by Diepenbeeck, Abraham Jansz. van (1596-1675) (after); Private Collection; (add.info.: William Cavendish, 1st Duke of Newcastle (1592-1676) produced A New Method and Extraordinary Invention to Dress Horses and Work them According to Nature on Manege riding as an exile in the Low Countries following the civil war. It was first published in 1657.
