This striking 19th century print depicts the Earl of Richmond, later King Henry VII, on horseback during the pivotal moment of the Battle of Bosworth in 1485. The Earl, dressed in red and gold armor, is shown brandishing a sword in his right hand and wearing a distinctive blue and white helmet adorned with a yellow plume. His horse, equally armored and determined, charges forward with the Earl's banner flying high.
