The Mroua people, also known as the M'Buti or M'Bochi, are an ethnic group inhabiting the dense forests of the Congo Basin, primarily in the modern-day Democratic Republic of Congo. Historically, the Mroua were a significant force in the central African region, renowned for their military prowess and complex social structures. They were skilled hunters, farmers, and ironworkers, and their society was organized around a hierarchical system of clans and sub-clans. The Mroua were also known for their distinctive appearance, with shaved heads, large earrings, and elaborate body scarification. This warrior, with his piercing gaze and adorned body, embodies the strength and resilience of the Mroua people.
