Initially fitted with a 70hp Rover TP.60/1 turboprop engine, this aircraft underwent several engine upgrades throughout its career. In November 1960, it was christened "Hot Wot" when powered by a Walter Mikron II engine. The following year, it was transformed into "Wet Wot" with the addition of floats, before being fitted once more with a 60hp Rover 1S.60 turboprop engine, which it flew on January 26, 1960.
