Officers and other Civic Guardsmen of the IV District of Amsterdam, under the Command of Captain Jan Claesz van Vlooswijck and Lieutenant Gerrit Hudde, Civic Guard of the corporalship of Captain Jan Claesz Vlooswijck and Lieutenant Gerrit Hudde, of the Kloveniersdoelen in Amsterdam, 1642. The captain and the lieutenant are seated, around them are the shooters, in the middle the ensign. They are probably in front of the De Zwaan brewery. The shooters are: Jan Witsen, Hillebrant Bentes, Andries Dircksen van Saane, Jan Bentes, Willem Simonsz Moons, Jan Huybertsen Codde, Roelof Roelofsen de Lange, IJsbrant van de Wouwer, Johannes Looten, Ulrich Petersen, Jacob Bleyenberch, Pieter Harpertsen, Pieter Tonneman, Evert Huibertsen Krieck, Hendrik Jansen van As and Nicolaes Kuysten.
