Preliminary study for the fresco, which graced the earlier in 1890 demolished house at the corner of Via S. Paolo in Ponte Navi, Verona, but is now kept in the local museum. On the sign held by vines, the painting shows the following text: " Miseratrix Virginum regina nostri miserere. MDXV". Red chalk drawing on yellowed paper.
