Great moment in Everton Football Club history captured in this stunning photograph by Anthony Devlin during the Barclays Premier League match between Chelsea and Everton on 15 October 2011. The image showcases Apostolos Vellios, then a young and promising Everton striker, celebrating his first-ever goal at Stamford Bridge. The Greek international joined Everton in the summer of 2011 and was eager to make an impact in his new team. In this particular game, Everton was facing a tough challenge against title contenders Chelsea. The first half ended goalless, but the atmosphere at Stamford Bridge was electric, with the home crowd urging their team to take the lead. However, it was Everton who struck first in the second half.
