George Richmond Collection

George Richmond (1809-1896) was a British painter and portraitist who was part of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. He is best known for his portraits of famous figures such as Charles Dickens, William Wordsworth, and Thomas Carlyle. His work is characterized by its attention to detail and realism.
