Yes it was a lovely wedding. The Queen fidgeted, Lady Diana yawned and Prince Charles couldn't stop giggling. But they got to the church on time. The Big Wedding day was performed by the Jack and Jill nursery school at Prittlewell in Southend. The bride's dress and all the trimmings were made up by mothers. Joanne Piper, 4, was Lady Diana, and four-year-old Graham Carter played a convincing Prince charles. The only upset came when Joanne refused to throw her bouguet to the bridesmaids. Tearfully she protested that it might harm the flowers - "and its rude to throw.".
