Sir Robert Baden-Powell, born on February 22, 1857, was an influential military leader and writer, best known for his innovative military tactics and the development of scouting. In 1907, he published "Scouting for Boys," a handbook for training young boys in woodcraft, military training, and life skills, which laid the foundation for the Boy Scouts movement.
