The Osage Nation, also known as the "People of the Middle Waters," are an indigenous tribe originally from the woodlands and prairies of what is now Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Historically, the Osage were skilled hunters, farmers, and horsemen, and their society was organized around a complex system of clans and alliances. However, their way of life was disrupted by European contact and the encroachment of American settlers.
