Lady Maud, who is pictured to the left of the Queen, is the younger sister of the Duchess of Fife and a granddaughter of King Edward VII. Behind the Queen, Princess Helena Victoria of Schleswig-Holstein stands with her back to the camera. Princess Helena Victoria is the eldest daughter of Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany, who was the third son of Queen Victoria.
