Above the parapet of the balcony is the Victoria Memorial, and beyond that, the Mall.The interior of the Centre Room was redecorated by Queen Mary in an Oriental style to harmonise with the original English Chinoiserie features, which were brought up from the Banqueting Room of the Brighton Pavilion.
