This enchanting image captures the young and precocious Dante Gabriel Rossetti, the renowned English poet and Pre-Raphaelite artist, at the tender age of six years old. Born on May 12, 1828, in London to an Italian family, Rossetti's artistic talent and poetic sensibilities were evident from an early age. The photograph, taken in 1882, reveals a charming boy with a mischievous grin, dressed in the fashionable attire of the time. He wears a high-necked bodice, reminiscent of the Victorian era, and a colorful neckerchief adorned with intricate patterns.
