In this fifth and final installment of the series, the intrepid musician Orpheus, played by an expressive actor, is seen turning back to gaze at his beloved Eurydice as they make their way up from the underworld. The haunting expression on his face betrays the forbidden desire that has led to their downfall. The historic scene is set against a backdrop of a dimly lit, rocky landscape, evoking the otherworldly atmosphere of the myth.
