Born on March 21, 1841, in Gloucester, England, E.M. Grace was an essential figure in the world of cricket, following in the footsteps of his older brother, W.G. Grace, who is widely regarded as the greatest cricketer of all time. The image, taken in 1911, showcases E.M. Grace in his cricketing attire, with a confident and focused expression. The photograph is a testament to his dedication and passion for the sport, which he shared with his brother. E.M. Grace made his first-class debut for Gloucestershire in 1863, and went on to play for the county until 1883.
