Well Collection

Well is a small village located in the county of North Yorkshire, England, and is situated between the towns of Masham and Ripon, and lies within the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has a population of around 300 people and is surrounded by rolling hills and lush green fields. A long history dating back to at least the 11th century when it was mentioned in the Domesday Book as Welle, and is believed that there was an Anglo-Saxon settlement here prior to this time. Today, Well remains a peaceful rural community with many traditional stone buildings still standing from centuries ago. There are several local amenities including two pubs, a post office, church and primary school which serves both Well and its neighbouring villages.
