His papacy, though short-lived, left an indelible mark on the history of Catholicism. In the image, Pope Conon is depicted in his papal regalia, seated on a throne, surrounded by a group of clergy and dignitaries. His calm and resolute expression conveys a sense of wisdom and authority. The Patriarchal Basilica of St. Peter, the seat of the papacy, can be seen in the background, a testament to the spiritual and temporal power of the papacy during this period.
