Under the sign of Lambeth Walk public house, actor Lupino Lane ( in bowler hat ) joins Pearly Kings and Queens in doing the Lambeth Walk after a cermony at which the former Mason Arms and China Walk (South East London ) had been renamed after the popular song and dance. Mr J Marriott, Pearly King of Finsbury, performed the opening ceremony. Other Pearly Kings and Lupino (he made the Lambeth Walk song and dance famous in the " Me and My Girl " show ) attended.
