"This evocative image captures the Sepulchral Chapel, also known as the Sepulchral Mosque or the Sepulchral Tomb of Sultana Valide, located in the historic Eminönü district of Istanbul, Turkey. Built between 1665 and 1668, the chapel was commissioned by Sultana Valide Sultan, the mother of Sultan Mehmed IV, as a mausoleum for herself and her family.
