It showcases a group of courageous women who were part of the Women's Land Army, stationed at Tregavethan Farm in Truro, Cornwall. These nine remarkable ladies are dressed in their working attire, possibly being among the first recruits trained at this very farm. While their names may have faded with time, their contribution and dedication remain etched in history. From left to right, we see Ms. Vera Dunfrane, Ms. Northey, Ms. Trejeweth, Ms. Nora Lock, Ms. I. Crowther, Ms. Dorothy Phyllis Martin, Ms. Brown - followed by an unknown woman - and finally Mrs. Ford.
