He has been active in the Dutch art scene since the early 1990s and has exhibited his work in numerous galleries and museums throughout Europe. His work is characterized by a strong sense of color, texture, and composition. He often uses found objects to create pieces that explore themes of identity, memory, and nostalgia. As an educator he works with students to develop their creative potential through workshops on drawing, painting, sculpture, photography and installation art. Through his curatorial practice he seeks to promote dialogue between artists from different backgrounds while creating opportunities for new generations of artists to present their work in public spaces.
