Our portrait of the Very Rev. Alan Campbell Don, K.C.V.O. Dean of Westminster since 1946, shows him wearing the historic cope which was made for the Coronation of Charles II. Dr. Don, who was born in 1885, is Dean of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath. He was a Chaplain to the King, 1934- 46, Canon of Westminster and Rector of St. Margaret, Westminster, 1941- 46, and Chaplain to the Speaker, House of Commons, 1936- 46. Date: 1953
