This enchanting photograph captures the moment when Princess Mary, the Princess Royal, exchanged vows with Viscount Lascelles, later Earl of Harewood, on May 27, 1922. The historic event took place at Westminster Abbey in London, with a grand procession through the city following the ceremony. Mary, dressed in an elegant white satin gown with a long train and a lace veil, looked radiant and joyful as she walked towards her husband, who waited for her at the altar. Henry, dressed in the uniform of the Royal Horse Guards, looked equally dapper and proud.
